Western China International Fair (WCIF) require the Japanese companies to withdraw because of Diaoyu Island Issue


According to Japan's Kyodo News reported, a number of Japanese companies, originally plan more than 60 Japanese companies participate in the Western China International Fair due to receiving organizers requirements to cancel its exhibitors. Western China International Fair is already one of China's most influential international fairs, this year have opened on the 25th, in Chengdu, Sichuan, continued from Tuesday to Sunday.

Kyodo news agency pointed out that the organizers of the WCIF on Monday issued a notice to the Japanese companies and local governments, asking them "to exit the current exhibition and remove all exhibits. WCIF is the largest International Fair which has the great support by the Chinese government to promote the development of the western region. 

About 4500 companies from about 50 countries and regions participated. On the last year WCIF, thanks to the support of the Chinese Government, the participants reached commercial and investment transactions amounted to 1.2 trillion yuan (about 189 billion U.S. dollars).
