A thermostatic radiator valve contains a thermometer that automatically controls an individual
radiator's temperature by sensing the air temperature and automatically opening
and closing the flow of hot water to the radiator, thus maintaining a preset
room temperature. Once reached a certain point, the thermostatic radiator valve
will close the flow of water to that radiator until the room temperature drops
and it will re-open again, ensuring that your radiators perform as efficiently as
possible, preventing a room from overheating.
A radiator valve
typically controls the flow of hot water to the heating radiators, and is designed
to maintain a room at the temperature you have selected. The radiator valve is an important part of
a radiator. Since the heating radiator plays a significant role in our daily
life, both in summer and winter, the function of a radiator valve should not be neglected, for it can help users to save
cost and minimize energy wastage.
Domestic heating is a big issue that you may attach great importance to,
for example, you may consider choose which kind of radiator valve to be
installed in the heating radiator of your bathroom. There are two types of
valves available, thermostatic radiator valve and
manual radiator valve. And I suggest that you should consider thermostatic radiator
valve. The reason is stated as below.
Compared with manual radiator valve,
the thermostatic
radiator valve saves you
much time and energy, because you need not to adjust it by hand and waste time
in remembering how long has it been worked and whether the room is overheating.
On the other hand, if you forget to close it after a long working period of the
radiator, you still don’t have to worry about your heating bills, for it is already adjusted
automatically. To this extent, a thermostatic
radiator valve is more money saving and energy saving.
