Operators have to keep the surrounding of equipment clean and tidy without litter or something dirty.

Details of maintaining glass machinery

The maintenances can be divided into daily maintenance and weekly maintenance. Daily maintenance is taken by equipment operators who are in glass machine factory, and they should finish the examination carefully.

1.       Wipe the equipments and add lubricating oil in regular time, in addition, they have also test if the handle is in correct position and flexible, and if the safety device is reliable. The operation of tire should be tested as well to guarantee the normal work.

2.       We should also pay attention to the sound in operation, the temperature, pressure, liquid level, hydraulic pressure, instrument signal and pressure system.

Weekly maintenance is taken by the end of week, and the maintain time is 2 hours in general, and it will take 4 hours to maintain huge and expensive equipment.

1.       Guide rail, all exposed parts and every transmission machinery part should be totally cleaned, as well as work place.

2.       Rust and erosion are also not allowed in the interior of machinery. Operators should clean oil line, dust proof felt, filter, and add or change oil for oil box.

We should maintain the glass machinery (insulating glass machine and glass cutting machine) in regular time in order to reduce its stoppage, improve the use ratio and perfectness ratio of machine, prolong its working life, cut the cost of machine operation and maintenance and insure the safety of production. Furthermore, all these should be operated by professionals rather than anyone.
