Eating Healthily with Rice Polisher


Rice polisher, or commonly known as rice polishing machine, is one of the newly developed rice processing machines used in rice processing industry. The main function of rice polisher is to peel off the shell of rough rice, and then the unpolished rice turns to the white rice at one time and to improve its appearance, taste, and texture.

The rice polisher is designed to make the milled rice more attractive in appearance and also to improve the packing properties as well as to remove the final traces of dust, bran, and flour from rice surface. The rice polishing machine is broadly divided into two types, namely: the abrasive type and the friction type. Also, it is categorized into two kinds based on its shaft (combination of disc and conveyors) arrangement, namely: horizontal and vertical.
